For the past 18 years, the
"Registered Lenstech Sunglass Certification Trademark" and the "Lenstech
Reading Glass Acceptance Trademark have been recognized standards of perforrmance
in the United States and throughout the world.
As
an independent ophthalmic products evaluation laboratory, we specialize in
the evaluation and certification of sunglasses and the evaluation and acceptance
of reading glasses. Our laboratory is completely equipped to perform
all of the tests required in the latest issue of the United States Sunglass
Industry Standard "ANSI Z80.3" and to evaluate the optical properties of
reading glasses.
Our evaluation services
include the "Lenstech Standard for Reading Glasses
(LC0993)", the "American
Sunglass Industry Standard ANSI Z80.3)", and selected tests in the
"Occupational and Educational Protection Standard (ANSI Z87.1)" and
the "European Sunglass Standard", the "Australian Sunglass Standard" and
the "Canadian Sunglass Standard". Compliance with the requirements
of the European Standard is necessary for exhibiting the "CE
Mark".
Sunglasses that meet the
requirements of the Lenstech Sunglass Certification Program and the latest
issue of the Sunglass Industry Standard, "ANSI Z80.3, American National Standard
for Ophthalmics, Nonprescription Sunglasses and Fashion Eyewear", can carry
the "Registered Lenstech Sunglass Certification Trademark".
Reading Glasses that meet
the requirements of the Lenstech Reading Glass Acceptance Program and the
reading glass standard, "Lenstech Standard For Reading Glasses (LC0993)",
copyright 1993, 1998, by Lenstech Corporation, can carry the "Lenstech Accepted
Trademark".
The certification and acceptance
trademarks and Lenstech approved statements may be used in advertising,
brochures, hangtags, labels and packaging and can remain with the product
throughout the marketing chain.
We provide technical support
to assist in complying with the requirements of the United States, Australian,
Canadian and European Sunglass Standards, the SAA/FDA recommended ultraviolet
labeling program and the Lenstech Standard for Reading Glasses.
We also provide technical support to facilitate new sunglass and reading
glass product development.
